Booking Information:


This holiday is deposit only at the time of booking. A payment link will be sent for the remaining balance, which must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to departure (5th October 2026).


Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.


Kick off the festive season in style with a relaxing Turkey & Tinsel break at the welcoming Winnock Hotel, set in the charming village of Drymen, close to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.


Travelling by coach, your holiday begins the moment you set off, with comfortable transport taking you to the hotel, on your included excursions, and home again at the end of your break—allowing you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey throughout.


Arriving on Monday 30th November, you’ll step into a cosy, Christmas atmosphere, where seasonal decorations and warm hospitality make you feel right at home. Your four-night stay includes dinner, bed and breakfast, giving you the perfect mix of comfort and indulgence.


Evenings are all about good food and great company, with hearty dinners followed by access to the hotel’s free bar, offering a £18 per person, per night allowance—ideal for unwinding and enjoying the festive spirit.


Each morning, enjoy a full breakfast before making the most of your day. To enhance your stay, a programme of excursions is included, with details to be announced soon—adding a little extra excitement and discovery to your trip.


A real highlight of the break will be on Wednesday 2nd December, when you’ll head out for a special afternoon experience—carols on board a traditional steamship on Loch Katrine. Surrounded by beautiful winter scenery, this unique outing promises a magical and memorable festive moment.


Back at the hotel, the Turkey & Tinsel celebrations continue with seasonal entertainment and a cheerful atmosphere throughout your stay.


After four enjoyable nights, you’ll depart on Friday 4th December, feeling relaxed, refreshed, and full of festive cheer.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – SHORT BREAKS


1. Booking & Payment

1.1 A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

1.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than [8 weeks] before departure.

1.3 Bookings made within [8 weeks] of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.

1.4 Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of deposit.


2. Pricing

2.1 All prices are per person unless otherwise stated and are based on current costs (fuel, accommodation, etc.).

2.2 We reserve the right to adjust prices due to unforeseen increases in costs; however, you will be informed in advance.


3. Cancellations by You

3.1 All cancellations must be made in writing to rgsadventures@outlook.com


3.2 Cancellation charges apply as follows:

• More than [8 weeks] before departure: Deposit only


• [43- 56 days ] before departure: [50]% of total cost


• Less than [43 days] before departure: 100% of total cost


3.3 We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover cancellations.


4. Cancellations by Us


4.1 We reserve the right to cancel the trip due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

4.2 In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another trip.

4.3 We are not liable for any additional costs incurred (e.g., personal travel arrangements, insurance).


5. Itinerary Changes

5.1 While we aim to follow the planned itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes due to weather, road conditions, or operational requirements.

5.2 Any changes will be made with your best interests and safety in mind.

6. Travel Insurance

6.1 Travel insurance is not included unless stated.

6.2 Passengers are strongly advised to arrange their own comprehensive cover.


7. Passenger Responsibilities

7.1 Passengers must arrive at the departure point on time.

7.2 We cannot be held responsible for missed departures.

7.3 Passengers are expected to behave respectfully; we reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone whose behaviour may cause discomfort or risk to others.

7.4 Any damage caused by a passenger must be paid for by that passenger.


8. Health & Mobility

8.1 Passengers must inform us of any medical conditions or mobility requirements at the time of booking.

8.2 While we will do our best to accommodate needs, we cannot guarantee suitability for all passengers.


9. Accommodation

9.1 Accommodation is based on availability and may be subject to change.

9.2 Room types (e.g., single, twin, double) must be requested at booking but cannot always be guaranteed.

9.3 Single supplements may apply.


10. Luggage

10.1 Each passenger is allowed [1 x 20kg suitcase + 1 hand luggage ].

10.2 We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.


11. Delays & Force Majeure

11.1 We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, breakdowns, or other events beyond our control.

11.2 No compensation will be paid for such delays.


12. Complaints

12.1 Any issues should be raised with the driver or tour organiser during the trip where possible.

12.2 Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of return.


13. Data Protection

13.1 Personal information provided will only be used for booking and operational purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where necessary.


14. Acceptance of Terms

14.1 By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

By booking a seat, you agree to the following cancellation policy:


​1. Passenger Cancellations:

22 Days or More Before Departure

• A refund will be issued with 20% deducted, or

• You may choose a 100% credit note to use on a future trip.


21-14 Days Before Departure

• 80% of the total trip cost will be refunded.


​13–8 Days Before Departure

• 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded.


7 Full Days Prior to Departure or Less

* 100% loss of the total trip value.

• No refund will be provided.


No-Shows

• Passengers who fail to arrive on the day of travel forfeit the full fare.


2. Ticket Transfers

• Tickets may be transferred to another passenger free of charge.

• Please notify us of the replacement passenger’s name before the day of travel.


3. Cancellations by the Organiser

• In the event that we must cancel a trip (e.g., operational reasons, unforeseen circumstances), passengers will receive either:

• A full refund, or

• A 100% credit note, if preferred.


4. General Information


• Please ensure you arrive on time for both outbound and return departures. Missed departure times cannot be refunded.

5.The Company cannot guarantee the same numbered seats given as on the ticket issued as operational circumstances may necessitate alterations such as vehicle size.


6.The prices shown are per passenger per seat.


7. Irrespective of age, seat belts are fitted to all vehicles to DVSA standards. Where children are concerned, a seat belt must be worn for the duration of the journey.


8. Smoking/vaping is prohibited onboard our coaches.


  1. For the Safety and comfort of all passengers, any individual who is intoxicated or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused travel at the discretion of the driver or company staff.

    * No refund will be issued in these circumstances

    * Passengers who become intoxicated during the trip and behave in a disruptive, unsafe or anti social manner may also be removed from the vehicle when it is safe to do so.

    * The Company accepts no liability for any consequences resulting from refusal of travel or removal due to intoxication.


10. The Company shall not be liable for loss to the passenger from stoppages of work howsoever caused, preventing performance of the trip:

• Loss of luggage or any personal belongings

• Breakdowns of the Company’s vehicles

• The Company hereby limits its liability resulting from the trip to the value of the ticket purchased.
